감성 가득한 Brother Brew Cafe 방문 후기 베이글 토스트 와 플랫화이트가 잘 어울렸던 날

금요일날 골프치러 가려했는데 너무 더운 날씨라 갑자기 어제 저녁에 오늘 시간되는거 있으면 예약해서 가자했는데 티오프 시간이 12시라 오전에 시간이 되서 골프장 근처 브런치카페에 왔답니다.

조용하고 감성 있는 동네 카페를 찾고 있다면 오늘 소개할 Brother Brew Cafe가 딱이에요. 저는 이번에 친구와 함께 다녀오면서 베이글 토스트, 플랫화이트, 카푸치노, 차이 라떼를 주문했는데, 전반적으로 분위기부터 커피 맛까지 만족도가 높아서 꼭 다시 방문하고 싶은 곳으로 저장했답니다.

처음 도착했을 때 분위기

Brother Brew Cafe는 멜번 특유의 심플하면서 따뜻한 분위기가 잘 살아있는 로컬 카페예요. 외관은 크게 화려하진 않지만, 안으로 들어가면 은은한 우드 톤과 자연광이 조화를 이루며 편안한 분위기를 만들어줘요. 지역 주민들이 많이 찾는 카페라 그런지 너무 시끌시끌하지도 않고, 커피 마시면서 쉬기 딱 좋은 공간이었어요.

좌석 간격도 적당히 넓고, 테이블 위가 깔끔하게 정돈되어 있어 오래 앉아 쉬거나 노트북을 펼쳐 작업하기에도 좋아 보였어요.

 

 

입구앞쪽에 주차 2시간 무료라서 편하게 주차하고 들어갔는데 생각보다 깔끔하고 직원분들이 너무 친절해서 자리 안내하는 내내 기분이 좋았답니다.  앞쪽은 사람들이 많아서 여유로운곳 원한다고 했더니 뒷쪽 자리로 안내해 주었어요.

 

 

호주에 오면 이런 매력이 있는것 같아요. 가게마다 뒷쪽으로 길게 빠진 골목을 지나가면 다른 공간이 나오는게 좀 신기하기도 하고 재미있는것 같아요. 사람들이 없는 곳으로 가서 조용하게 이야기 나누고 싶어 뒷쪽에 앉았답니다.

 

 

메뉴는 직접가서 주문할 필요없이 직원이 수시로 다니면서 편의를 물어봐줘서 너무 편리했어요.

멜번 카페에서 빠질 수 없는 플랫화이트(Flat White).
Brother Brew의 플랫화이트는 우유와 에스프레소 비율이 잘 맞아서 너무 진하거나 묽지 않은 밸런스 좋은 맛이었어요. 산미도 과하지 않고 고소함이 은근하게 남아 멜번 로컬 카페다운 수준을 보여줬어요.

심하게 꾸미지 않은 심플한 메뉴지만, 개인적으로는 “다음에 와도 또 먹고 싶다!” 싶을 정도로 만족스러웠어요.

 

 

차이 라떼  향긋하고 포근한 시나몬 향

카페의 분위기와 잘 어울렸던 음료가 바로 차이 라떼(Chai Latte).
진한 시나몬 향이 은은하게 퍼지며 따뜻해지는 느낌이 정말 좋았고, 우유 스티밍도 부드러워서 겨울이나 비 오는 날에 마시면 좋을 것 같은 메뉴였어요. 단맛은 과하지 않아서 부담 없이 즐길 수 있었어요. 커피마시고 나서 다른 일행이 오게 되어 음료를 하나 더 주문하게 되었는데 나쁘지 않았어요. 다만 허니를 곁들였다면 더 완벽하지 않았을까 하는 아쉬움이 남았답니다.
